Pauline brings a wealth of diverse experience in leadership, advocacy, and community service to her role as Trustee for Widows Rights International. She is deeply committed to supporting initiatives that promote justice, empower individuals, and foster collaboration across all sectors of society.
Her goal is to unite people in addressing pressing challenges and building a stronger, more inclusive community. As a former Trustee of the Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation (BLCF), Pauline was instrumental during the COVID-19 pandemic, serving on the grant panel to approve essential funding for critical needs such as food and safety resources. She also played a pivotal role in launching EVOLVE, a philanthropic initiative under BLCF that supports women’s organisations in Bedfordshire. Since its inception in 2022, EVOLVE has provided nearly £30,000 in grants and bursaries to help women retrain, upskill, or start businesses.
Pauline’s advocacy extends beyond local initiatives. As President of Soroptimist International (SI) Bedford, she led a project to provide free sanitaryware to schools in Sierra Leone, reducing absenteeism among young girls during their menstrual cycles. Through SI’s special consultative status at the United Nations, Pauline engaged with global entities and attended the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in New York, furthering her expertise and network to advance gender equality.

Passionate about empowering women and girls, Pauline is a vocal advocate on critical issues such as domestic abuse, gender equality, and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). She has contributed to the Government Think Tank for Gender Equality and continues to raise awareness about these important topics.
