Dr. Christella CAYEMITTE is a dedicated physician, humanitarian leader, and influential advocate for women's and widows' rights. Crowned a beauty queen in 2016, she has transformed her public platform into a powerful force for social change. Born into a modest family and raised by a widowed mother, she developed an early awareness of the challenges faced by vulnerable women, fueling her determination to take action.

Medical Journey & Social Commitment

A medical graduate of Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago (UTESA), Dr. CAYEMITTE is currently specializing in Public Health, focusing on:

Health equity for vulnerable women (widows, young mothers).
Maternal and child health policies in fragile settings.
Combating social determinants of health (poverty, education, healthcare access).

Her fieldwork has led to collaborations with institutions like [WHO/PAHO, UCMIT/PNLT, MSPP, UNICEF, etc.], where she advocates for more inclusive health systems. Driven by clinical experience and a passion for social justice, she founded Eveil des Veuves (EV), an organization empowering widows and protecting their rights. She also co-founded KOREM, which supports adolescent and young mothers in poverty through education, psychosocial support, and vocational training.
