About the event
A conversation about the positive use of technology for widows and their families. The multiple disadvantages faced by widows globally is exacerbated by the new challenges of the digital divide. Yet widows can also harness technology to gain understanding and organise locally. This event aims to provide a space for meaningful conversations demonstrating how widows, when empowered, can become active agents of change. It is a follow up event to CSW67 looking to implement the Outcomes of CSW67 and the UN General Assembly resolution on widows.
