HE Ambassador Dr. Mrs Olufolake Abdulrazaq, First Lady of Kwara state, chairperson for all Nigeria first Ladies. HRH Princess Dr. Moradeun Ogunlana Round table Experts from DRC, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, UAE, together with global organisations such as Age International and Global Fund for Widows will share news of their work for widows.
The multiple disadvantages faced by widows globally is mostly invisible due to lack of data. The last 30 years has seen little progress. This interactive session aims to provide a space for meaningful conversations interrogating ways to ensure the situation for widows is improved and highlighting how widows, when empowered, can become active agents of change.
